Hi Everyone! My name is Ellen and I'm your Cincy Origami sensei!
A little about me...
I'm a retired elementary school teacher that first learned origami from my Japanese mother, Toshiko. In retirement, I began teaching origami to children on the online platform Outschool.
My origami designs include:
- animals
- flowers
- boxes
- Valentine’s Day
- Easter
- Mother’s Day
- Halloween
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas
- and MORE!
Starting this summer I'll be teaching origami locally on the Westside of Cincinnati!
Here are some types of origami classes I'll be offering:
Children's Class
All students will make multiples of the origami designs so they’ll be able to repeat the steps at home.
Family Fun
Spend time with your child learning a new art skill. Family Fun classes are intended for one adult and one child (additional siblings can join).
Friends Night Out!
Private group classes where friends can make projects together. Examples are: all friends making a vase of origami flowers, origami baskets, a set of seasonal ornaments, etc.
