From powders to pigments to lipsticks: our students brought color theory to life in the lab!
During our recent Color Cosmetics Lab, our online master's students joined us in person at the James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy as they moved from concept to creation to explore color theory, formulation, and product development firsthand under the guidance of industry expert Kelly Dobos.
Students loved the chance to dive into hands-on learning:
- Alessandra shared that making lipsticks was her favorite part and loved seeing how pigments change in unexpected ways
- Isabella said coming in person is totally worth it because hands-on learning is so valuable
With students like Alessandra and Isabella traveling from Philadelphia, San Diego, and beyond, it was amazing to see online learners come together and fully immerse themselves in the experience.
