Long time… no post! lol
I’m coming here to show off the brilliant place we are currently in! AND! To speak on a HUGE UPDATE! Please read until the end. I wish I could pin two posts…

Right now, I have a really good mix of preschoolers to toddlers. And, as always, tots having good matches for play buddies. More and more children are using the potty 😍

I have honed my contract (yet again—as—sometimes the contract changes as the overall familial dynamic changes… I think it’s OK for boundaries to change given circumstance and not stay stagnant Xxoo)
AND! I started using only washable diapers and THAT has taken a huge load off of my environmentalist heart and spirit. Hoping to get these kiddos interested in fruits and things that don’t come in clamshells/etc… too! 🙃 Have you all been in the new Lierer’s Market?
No pressure, just a thought…. As we enter into this new political era of uncertainty may we all push through and past feelings of defeat and fear and make real life changes that align with our spirits. Let’s look at our place in this community and world and make the best choices everyday in all of the small and big things we can so we may reflect our thoughtful loving Selves. You are Here! Right Now! And, I see you and I love you. With this said. The huge shift I’m taking, which feels uncertain when it comes to my work reality is I am leaving FB and have joined up with blue sky. Which means I won’t be able to advertise or be contacted through here. Most of the people that contact me have discovered my service through years of being talked up on our neighborhood page. And, word of mouth from trusted community, publicly… goes a long way. I’ll be leaving this page up for a month while I design and make fliers and make a printed version of my current contract. Honestly, I’m a bit relieved to be done on FB with the exception of marketplace (where I get dang near all of my tools etc, and this page sharing photos) Xxoo.
Check it, though! I’ve taught the children to say they are hungry for justice when it’s snack time. And we are making homemade seed and nut packed granola this week—- so—- it’s synonymous 😉 a massive photo dump as the final post. My handle at bluesky is .bsky.social

When you have an older kiddo in your care for the day that used to come to you from toddling till preschool and they harvest some chickory from a crack in the sidewalk and tell you that the root can be used in a ‘fake coffee’ mixture and you ask who taught them that…. Thinking they have other w**d nerds in their life… and they tell you that you taught them that and look at you like you are a bit off for asking. 🤷🏻‍♀️ reminders that things stick is a great motivator. 🌈

Hi! This summer has been SO full! I kept the grass in back very tall so the shorties could play “going on a bear hunt” and hide etc. if you have a toddler I recommend doing this at least for a bit in your own yard. Hiding is a favorite game. Grass is like hair. You can always cut it… later. lol Anyway! Water fun, bubble fun, paint fun, harvesting and planting fun. I enjoy the calm of winter. But… the summer is really the BEST! Also! We made paneer and have been having incredible circle times, now that this crew is really starting to practice talking about their thoughts and feelings.

🌎🌻A little bit of late spring. 🌎🌻

Last week we dyed eggs with beets, onions, turmeric, and red cabbage. This week we made egg salad with them after harvesting chickw**d, violets, and red buds. 🥹 OH! AND! We spent all day yesterday harvesting dandelions, violets, and red buds to do our annual dandelion jelly making! It’s been a busy couple of weeks!
