Big thinking. Real conversation. Local impact.

On May 2, students from across Cincinnati Public Schools came together for the 1st CPS Ethics Bowl—a teacher-led effort to keep ethical dialogue going beyond the traditional Ethics Bowl season.

Hosted at Spencer Center for Gifted and Exceptional Students and supported by the Cincinnati Ethics Center, students engaged in structured discussion using national-level cases—building skills in critical thinking, perspective-taking, and real-world reasoning.

Walnut Hills claimed the championship in a split decision, winning by just 8 points over Shroder.

More than a competition, the day was about keeping students engaged—and opening the door for more CPS schools to join.
