The preschoolers completed their Black History Month projects on Friday, choosing their favorite inventor or writer and practicing their fine motor skills by crafting a beautiful collage.

Today our preschoolers had so much fun turning shapes into houses! 🟧🔺🟣
We practiced drawing shapes, identifying colors, and cutting out those shapes to create a whole house from scratch.

As we worked, we talked about what shapes make up a house—rectangles for the walls, triangles for the roof, squares for windows, and circles for the sun ☀️. The kids used their fine motor skills while cutting and gluing, hand-eye coordination while placing their pieces, and creativity and problem-solving to bring their houses to life.

This activity also helped strengthen scissor skills, shape recognition, color awareness, focus, and confidence as they proudly shared their finished homes with friends 🏠❤️

Learning through hands-on play is our favorite way to build strong little learners—and today was a great example of that!

🅼 Letter of the Week: M 🅼

This week our preschoolers explored the letter M through fun, hands-on activities! They practiced tracing uppercase and lowercase M, identifying M-words like moon, milk, and mouse, and worked on cutting, painting, and writing. ✂️🖍️ We also searched our classroom for letter M’s

These activities supported early literacy, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and cognitive development. We love watching their confidence and skills grow through learning and play! 💛📚

🎃 Fall Fun at Our Daycare! 🍁

We had a blast at our Fall Costume Party! The kids loved pumpkin exploring, cookie decorating, and a lively game of musical chairs. It was a fun-filled day of laughter, learning, and sweet fall memories! ❤️

🍁 What a Wonderful Week in Preschool! 🍁

This week at our daycare, our preschoolers had an amazing time exploring nature and discovering all the beauty that comes with fall! 🍂 We learned about the fall harvest, the changing colors of the leaves, and why the weather starts to feel a little cooler. The children also talked about what kinds of clothes we wear in the fall — from cozy sweaters to warm jackets! 🧣🧤

Our days were filled with fun activities, outdoor adventures, and lots of hands-on learning. It’s such a joy watching our little learners grow curious about the world around them! 🌎❤️

Yesterday’s field trip to Sharon Woods was more than just a fun adventure — it was a hands-on learning experience that supports early childhood development in so many ways! Our preschoolers explored nature trails, observed wildlife, collected colorful leaves, and enjoyed outdoor play with friends. Happy Fall everyone! 🍂🍁🍃

The preschoolers started their “On the farm” theme this week! Yesterday they enhanced their senses playing with our big farm felt board. We also talked about how yarn is made, what we can use it for and which animal it comes from! They worked on their sensory and fine motor skills while making a sheep and yarn collage. Happy Thursday everyone!

The toddlers have been busy this week working on their transportation theme! They loved washing the vehicles is our “car wash” sensory bins, building car garages using blocks, reading books about transportation and playing with our new transportation themed felt board!

Last week was Art Week Lots of Love Nursery & Home Child Care! The school agers studied Van Gogh and created oil pastel pieces, went to a pottery class, stopped at Dairy Queen, took a dip in the pool and had a paint party @ The Craft Lab Paint Playground! ☀️🌻

Our Preschoolers are beginning to read. They will be ready for kindergarten in the fall! 🏫 📖 ✏️
