This Sunday, our community will have the opportunity to come together and honor the life and legacy of Russell Barbee, a beloved band director whose influence reached far beyond the music.

As part of the afternoon’s performance, the Heart of Texas Concert Band will present a special musical tribute to Russell, celebrating a life devoted to music, a heart devoted to people, and a legacy that will continue through the countless students and families he touched.

Following the tribute, enjoy the Heart of Texas Concert Band’s Viva San Antonio! concert, featuring Mariachi Gallos de Oro and Alamo City Ballet Folklórico.
