Mitchell's Eagle Scout Project 2015

A special thank you to each and everyone of you that helped me get my wings. This evening, I passed my council board of review and was given the highest rank in scouting, Eagle.

This is it - last Sunday was the final push. The only thing missing are the plaques that are on special order. But the project looks AMAZING. Yesterday at school, students, ones that I didn't even know, were coming up to me commenting on how well my project turned out. I cannot thank each and every Sponsor and/or Donator enough. You will ALL hold a special place in my heart. I will post the final pictures with the plaques once they are in. But until then, I am now looking forward to submitting my final project book to my troop and council, going through my 2 board of reviews and receiving my WINGS! Enjoy the pictures.

On to next weekend and my project should be complete minus the plaques that are being made. I am coming back in and adding some additional touch up work to the "H" now that all the concrete work around it has been done and doing the final clean up with the leftover old "H" concrete and the dirt, just in time for graduation. I will post the final pictures, until then - enjoy!

2nd Group of the weekend is "Concrete"

What a Saturday! There was SO much going on. I am having to break up these pictures to share it all. The 1st group is "Final Prep Work"

Saturday was an exciting day for the project - the "H" was poured..next Saturday the surrounding area will be poured to keep the hillside from eroding further in that area. I am so excited to see the finalization of this project and to give the school back their "H" in time for graduation.

It will be an early morning tomorrow as the concrete truck, pumper and finisher start on the "H"...looking forward to seeing it take further shape and getting closer to finishing my eagle scout project for the school.

Another Phase has been completed...String Lines, Forms and Rebar and magically the "H" reappeared again, well at least it looks like an "H". Thank you Rob Figueroa, alumni of HHS for your time and materials, it was greatly appreciated!!Looking forward to next weekend
