Congratulations to our amazing instructor of the month, from the month of August, Coach Alyssa! 🎉Here a little info about her!

1. I grew up in Hanford and moved to San Diego when I was 3.
2. My favorite hobbies are going to the gym and coloring.
3. My favorite food is sushi and pasta!
4. A fun fact about me is I played soccer and softball for about 8 years.
5. I wanted to work here because l’ve always been apart of my schools baron buddies and I loved hanging out with the kids and looked forward to playing with all different individuals and making their day better!
6. I think what I bring to Excel Together is high energy, good sports knowledge and being a comforting person to talk to and be around.
7. My experience in the neurodiverse field is being part of my schools baron buddies program for over 3 years now.

A surprise celebration to pause and show appreciation for the hard work of our CEO and all of the managers and staff that make Excel Together such an amazing place to be. Tomorrow is 2 years since we opened our first building dedicated only to ET and 3.5 years since we started this amazing work. It’s been an exciting ride and we’ve only just begun. Three facilities and hundreds of families touched…and yet we have only just begun. Thanks to Beto EL TAQUERO AVENTADO, PeQues Snks and GET THAT CAKE for keeping us well fed.

Special Olympics Fall Season is right around the corner!! Interested in Soccer, Softball, Golf, or Cheer?? Practices start the week of September 1st. Register with Special Olympics to participate and it is completely FREE for families!

Give it up for our Instructor of the Month from the month of July, Coach Angel! Here’s a little bit about him💪🏼💪🏼:

1. I’m from San Diego born and raised!

2. My favorite hobby is playing softball.

3. My favorite snack is candy!

4. One fun fact about me is I can run a mile in 4 minutes.

5. I wanted to work here because I had experience with family members within the community, and wanted to contribute my skills set as a baseball coach to pass to the community. Working here at Excel Together, I look forward to seeing the growth in my clients that I help coach.

6. I think what I bring to Excel Together is my knowledge of spots background and my patience.

7. My experience in the neurodiverse field is my family members that I have helped care for, and have been privileged to further my knowledge here Excel Together and with more guidance from my wife that has been involved with the community for years as a ABA therapist and respite worker.

🧩 Excel Together - Spring Valley is open at 10461 Austin Drive, Spring Valley 91978.

🧩 Our sensory gym space is the largest of our three facilities and includes something for each person. From swings, to ball pits, to climbing walls, to monkey bars to soft play; each person finds the spot that is perfect for them. We have clients from SDRC, charter schools and private pay. Austin, we could not be more proud to be a part of your racing journey. What started as a DM over 9 months ago has developed into a friendship and a partnership that we are excited to continue for years to come. Your dedication to the sport of racing and the work that went into getting you to this point is remarkable. We were overjoyed to be a part of your racing debut and proud to have our logo on the side of the truck you were driving. You are a class act and a true example that chasing your dreams will always be worth it. You give your all to everyone around you and we hope you are able to take a breath, celebrate your 17th place finish and feel all the love and support of those around you.
