Squeezed in a PCSL match before I’m gone moose hunting. Furiously packing to the last minute but it was worth it! Can’t get too rusty. I shot 94% of points, some wonky moments due to an untimely migraine but Jason came through with the liquid IV and gave me Tylenol. So many awesome people making the shooting sports a blast!

I shot both the 124’s and 147’s in this match provided by and I actually prefer the 147’s with the long guide rod and 16 pound spring. My PDP steel frame has been flawless with this set up and I can’t recommend it enough.

Check them out for more than just (my recommendation though!) Lots of uses for PMC factory 115’s or Lawman 124/147’s to make sure when it’s time to shoot pistol for real that defensive ammo won’t break your wrists.

Shooting a specific pace and learning how to get desired hits can be really frustrating if you are not mentally prepared. I decided to push aggressive plans and shoot as aggressively as I could before I started the match, that always helps me move on from bad deltas or misses. I had 3 misses this match and a deltas or two but I also learned where I can stay aggressive and where I need to slow down and be more disciplined on the trigger.

You have to push the pace and fail in order to learn from those failures, train them out and come back a better shooter.

I’m loving my PDP steel frame more and more, the trigger/grip ergonomics allow me to shoot .12 and .11 splits on demand, something I could never get out of a G***k. Shooting thanks to check them out online!

PCSL Saturday match, search Targets USA on practiscore! Really fun stages with a mix of awesome swingers, steel and movement as well as a few shorter burner stages which I just enjoy to shoot.

I always enjoy shooting provided by out of my PDP steel frame.

Truly an amazing Alaska State Championship and the stages designed by were above and beyond, incredibly interesting to plan and shoot.

I’m grateful for for sponsoring the match and for sponsoring me, enabling me to shoot more and represent Alaska at Nationals.

I wanted to post these runs to highlight how difficult this sport can be, this match was full of frustration and mental mistakes for me. First stage I transitioned to the tuxedo 3rd to last target but inexplicably did not shoot it and had to go back for it. That stage was still an overall win but I did not get so lucky moving forward.

From poor transitions, penalties, falling out of the shooting area and a major malfunction the entire match felt like a comedy of errors. I ate my humble pie and am motivated to move on and train harder. I’m always attempting to improve my mental game, I am happy that I never had the snow ball effect from mistakes.

Massive congratulations to for taking the overall win out of over a hundred shooters and for beating me and taking the CO win.

2025 Factory Gun Nationals day 1, overall it was a solid performance. Got the first and only miss out of the way for the match and moved on. Accidentally dropped my mag on the third stage with a catastrophic draw but I didn’t let that ruin the rest of the stage. I’m extremely happy with the result and I know exactly what to work on!
