Classical Conversations may be the answer for your family. Join me on this informal zoom meeting to learn more about how we support families on their homeschooling journey.
For a better understanding of CC and our 20+ years of experience in classical, christian, community education, join me on zoom calls being held May 7th 3-4:30pm or May 19th 7-8:30pm.

For an understanding of how your high school student can earn college credits while participating in the CC community, join Ruth Emerick on zoom calls being held May 12 3-4:40pm or May 14th 7-8:30 pm.

Classical Conversations is a classical, Christian homeschool community that meets weekly for students and their families ages 4 through high school graduation. We currently meet in Christiansburg on Tuesdays, but we would like to expand to other counties throughout SWVA.

Our programs:
Foundations (4-12 yr olds): offers students the opportunity to participate in fine arts studies, science experiments and projects, class presentations, and learning 7 facts weekly from geography, Latin, English grammar, science, history, timeline, and math. Parents participate at this level with their students.

Essentials (9-12 yr olds): offers students the opportunity to focus on grammar, writing, and math facts. Parents participate at this level with their students.

Challenge (12-graduation): offers students the opportunity to gradually become independent learners through 6 different strands at each level: A, B, I, II, II, and IV. Each year affords students the opportunity to grow in different areas, such as participating in science fair, Mock Trial, class debates, art studies, and many individual event projects. Parents are not required to attend with their students, but are encouraged to study with their students in 2-3 strands.

We will be holding information meetings over the next couple of months. Please feel free to reach out to me to have an information meeting in your community. Right now, we are scheduled for the following locations:
