We are beaming with pride over an incredible summer achievement by one of our rising 3rd graders! This hardworking student leader qualified for and competed in the AAU Junior Olympics in Des Moines, Iowa! 🏅 Iowa State
Reaching this national level takes true dedication, perseverance, and passion. Reaching a goal like this doesn't happen by accident—it requires "Beginning with the End in Mind," setting big goals, and "Putting First Things First" every single day during summer training! 💪🧠

🌱 Growing Future Leaders: Our New Garden Beds Are Built! 🌱

Big things are sprouting at Jones Elementary! 🪵🐾 We are so excited to announce the successful build of our brand-new garden beds, created in partnership with the amazing team at Healthy Food for Healthy Kids! 🥦🍅🌻
At Jones, we love finding new ways to "Sharpen the Saw" and learn through hands-on leadership. These garden beds will give our Woodchucks the opportunity to "Be Proactive" in learning where our food comes from, practicing science in real-time, and growing healthy habits for life! 🧠💪

💚 A MASSIVE THANK YOU to all of our incredible community volunteers, staff members, and families who came out to dig in, build, and "Synergize" to make this dream a reality. Your hard work and time spent in the dirt will nourish our student leaders for years to come! 🛠️🪵✨

We can’t wait to watch our students plant, tend, and harvest their very own gardens. Stay tuned to see what our Woodchuck growers cultivate first! 🥕🥬

Christina School District's Summer Cafeteria Crew will be participating in the 2026 Summer Food Service Program, which will be offered at seven Christina schools. The federally-funded program provides free breakfasts and lunches during the summer months and will be available Monday through Thursday at the sites listed below.
All children 18 years of age and under are eligible to receive NO COST breakfast and lunch. No need to apply for the program - just bring yourself and enjoy tasty and nutritious meals.

What a year it's been! We are so proud of all of our students and the wonderful things they accomplished this year. We hope you all have a safe and relaxing summer. We are already hard at work making sure that next year is even better!
