Our Advocate, Grace, is going on a brief vacation and then will be busy training RA's and making other connections on campus, so you may not see too much coming through our socials. You'll know when we're back and in the swing of things! Until then, take care, be safe, and look out for one another.

Starting in September, CASA will be holding a once monthly drop-in support group for folks who have experience with power-based-violence. Participants will get to choose which topics the group will cover and how the group functions. Hope to see you there next month!

Title IX is an important civil rights protection. Under Title IX, s*xual violence and other gender based violence is considered a civil rights violation and universities and schools are required to follow a specific set of ‘rules’ when it comes to response, intervention and prevention of these types of violence.
