The Chilhowee R-IV PTO is hosting a trash bag fundraiser from March 4–March 18!

✔️ High-quality, extra-thick trash bags
✔️ All rolls are $12 each
✔️ Perfect for home, kitchen, and spring cleanup

Bag options available:
🟡 Yellow – 39 gallon (25 bags)
🌸 Pink – 39 gallon (25 bags) *NEW
⚪ White – 15 gallon tall kitchen (65 bags)
⚪ White – 13 gallon w/ drawstrings (50 bags) *NEW
🔵 Blue – 55 gallon super size (16 bags)

🗓️ Orders due March 18
📦 Bag pickup: April 9 (bags must be picked up at school)

💰 Bonus: The student who sells the most rolls earns a $25 gift card!

📣 Important PTO Update 📣

After much thought and many conversations, we want to share that following the end of this school year, our PTO will be disbanding. At this time, the PTO is no longer able to continue operating with only three board members, and we want to be transparent with our school community.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has volunteered, donated, attended meetings, and supported PTO events over the years. Your time and generosity have made a real difference for our students and staff. ❤️

Our hope is that another group or organization may step in in the future to continue meaningful traditions like the Christmas Store, School Carnival, and financial support for scholarships and field trips.

👉 Important: We still have three meetings remaining and are actively planning for the PTO Carnival on May 2. We cannot do this event without help, and we would love to see new and returning faces join us.

We are currently needing help with:

Silent auction donations

BINGO prize baskets

BINGO callers

Ticket sellers

Prize table helpers

Cleanup crew

🎪 PTO Carnival Silent Auction Help Needed 🎪

We’re looking for one volunteer to be the point person for our Silent Auction—helping collect items, contact donors, and set it up the day of the carnival. This role is usually filled by our PTO Vice President, but we don’t currently have one.

Without a lead, the Silent Auction will be very limited this year. If you can help, please comment below or message the PTO page. We’d be so grateful! 💙

UPDATE! The Christmas Store will only be held for three days only: December 8-10. Elementary students will be allowed to shop Monday through Wednesday 7:35-9:30 AM. 7-12th graders are invited to shop Tuesday and Wednesday during Tribe Time. Everything in the store is $1.00! Please message us with any questions.
