We made the paper (it's real, but shamelessly photoshopped by me)

Another sad loss for the Association. Lewis Kennemore, a 2015 Hall of Fame inductee has passed. A main event winner & consistent front runner in the Late Model Sportsman at Shasta Speedway, running against the likes of Roger Gannon, & Rex Clark. A good guy & a good friend of mine, we had some great road trips in the late 70s & early 80s that we were lucky to live through.
Our thoughts go out to Kathy, Kevin, & Kelly & the rest of the family. I don't think we will see the like of him again.

I received a call today from Butch reporting the passing of Don Harper. Don was always a hard charging, in it for the win kind of racer at our open shows, which won him a lot of fans here. He won our Western 150 in 1979. Don's sister Valerie, of TV fame, & the rest of the family & friends are in our thoughts at this sad time

We also lost Bob Bogue on Oct.31st (my apologies for the delay). Bob was a close personal friend of mine for almost 50 years. I don't recall how long Bob raced, but it was a good long time, he won the Hobby stock Championship in 1972 (on dirt) & the Bomber Championship in 1979 (on pavement), something to be quite proud of in my view. Again our thoughts go out to Susie, Ralph, & the rest of the family & friends. I'll miss him.
