Your input helps ensure California’s broadband map reflects real-world service availability, speeds, reliability, and affordability, especially in rural and underserved communities.

Attendees will hear updates from the California Public Utilities Commission on Tribal engagement efforts, explore funding opportunities including Tribal Technical Assistance, and learn from Tribal-led case studies. The meeting will also include an interactive discussion to identify shared challenges, opportunities, and next steps.

Broadband access and adoption in our region remain among the lowest in the state, limiting opportunities in education, healthcare, employment, and economic development.

The Northeastern and Upstate California Connect Consortia has launched the Broadband Workforce Survey to identify gaps in our broadband workforce and shape smart, strategic solutions.

The survey is open now and takes just 5 to 10 minutes to complete.

We’re calling on community members, business leaders, service providers, and all regional stakeholders to weigh in.
