We've had quite a start to the school year at Marigold! The primary playground structure underwent a complete overhaul and on Monday it was time to finally open it up to students. Most of the equipment is similar to what we had before, but now the ground has been covered with a soft bouncy surface that not only prevents injury, but allows for wheelchairs and such to roam the play structure.
One new piece of equipment is an accessible swing that can accommodate multiple people, and has a ramp for wheelchair access. Along with talking about safety around the entire play structure, we also had a ribbon cutting for the new swing.
Needless to say, the kids are loving the new play structure!
