Congratulations to Anna Diaz! She competed in the Gold Rush Karate Tournament and Won 3 medals, 1 for Kata, 1 for Kobudo, and 1 for continuous sparring. She also won the award of Teen Grand Champion for Kobudo!

Congratulation to Henry Curtis and Katherine Bishop on their recent belt test.

Our 2 groups heading to Okinawa to train with Minoru Sensei. Cooper and Brenden will be Training and Lilly and Grace will be testing for their Nedan’s in Karate and Lilly will also test for her Nidan in Kobudo! Have a wonderful Time.

We’ll be closed Friday–Monday, May 23–26, for Memorial Day weekend. See you back in the dojo next week!

Haley’s will be sponsoring 5 teams at the corn hole tournament may 3rd for the Howard’s heroes fundraiser! Must be teams of at least 2 people, ages 12 and over. Additional team members must be paid by the team. Please let the front desk know if you would like to be one of the teams!

Martial artists represent Chico at World Karate Championships Chico's Brenden Wells and Cooper Howard represented NorCal at the WUKF World Karate Championships.
