In 2024-25, CV Tech students earned 2,870 certifications. CareerTech certifications open doors to higher-paying careers while helping students pursue higher education with less debt. Certifications allow students to quickly gain new skills, earn industry credentials, and move forward — whether that means getting hired, changing careers, or advancing where they are.

Congratulations to our seven Cowan Health Careers students who were selected for the inaugural HOSA State Internship Program! This is an exciting leadership opportunity at the state level. These students will work alongside HOSA-Future Health Professionals State Officers to build leadership skills while helping plan and coordinate major statewide events, including the HOSA State Leadership Conference and Camp IGNITE.

Congratulations to: Serenity Billings, Kendall Foushee, Alaysha Hooper, Aryanah Nguyen, Anaya Mazon, Sabrina Tooley, and Viennay Gonzalez (not pictured as she is completing her Apprenticeship off campus.)

Our instructors and support staff recently took the STOP THE BLEED® class through our El Reno Workforce & Economic Development team. This program is designed to train bystanders to be equipped and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. Classes--offered in both English and Spanish--are available for local businesses by calling 405.422.2210
