New year, new you?
Not for us. Our mission remains the same: advocate for every Principal, Assistant Principal, and every school community across Chicago. Because strong school leaders build strong schools, which build strong communities.
As we reflect on the work we've done in 2025, we're also laser-focused on the work ahead to ensure equity, safety, resources, and well-being for all.

Thank you, National Alliance of Black School Educators (NABSE) for inviting CPAA and the Emmett Till Fine and Performing Arts Magnet Elementary School Dance Team to your conference! Their performance was a great example of 's focus on transformative practices driving student achievement, including the arts.
Here in Chicago, we're proud to be advocating for the many school leaders who make programs like this dance team happen. And we're excited to continue to participate in over the next few days and learn from others across the country who are making a difference.

As we wrap up 2025, we’re proud of how our principals have led with heart, vision, and Community.
From championing student wellbeing to launching new academic pathways, this year proved again that strong leadership transforms schools.
What’s one accomplishment your school community is proud of this year?

Every day, administrators are grateful for the opportunity to lead and inspire the next generation. But today especially, we pause to reflect on just how thankful we are for the communities, schools, and young people we serve.

Our Tuesday Talks with CPS Board President Harden have been inspirational.
From issues of equity in resource distribution amid the budget deficit to listening to why principals need a greater voice in the CEO search, President Harden has been increasingly transparent while hearing our concerns.
We're grateful to be a part of conversations like this. Thank you, President Harden, for listening to why Principals and Administrators should be at the forefront of these decisions, not just expected to deal with the aftermath.

The future of Chicago is in our classrooms today.
As we wrap up National Education Week, we celebrate every student dreaming big and every educator helping make those dreams come true.
Education is a team effort - those dreams don't come true without a community encouraging them. Thank you to every principal, administrator, teacher, parent, volunteer, and partner who helps our students thrive!
