What a great first week back it has been! We truly hit the ground running, welcoming new and returning students to a new school year, hosting our Primary and Secondary families at our back-to-school nights, the staff vs. Year 13 basketball game, meeting with parent reps, holding the first Primary assembly of the year (featuring many crayons!), teambuilding trips and activities for our Secondary students, re-launching our house system, and our Early Years Coffee Morning -- just to name a few things!

This morning was particularly special as we welcomed our Parent Reps on to campus and discussed the upcoming year. Our Parent Reps fulfill a vital role in our community, serving as advocates, liaisons, event planners, and community-builders.

Today, our Senior Leadership Team met and spoke with Parent Reps about the ways we're always working to improve our students' and families' experience. Working directly with parents helps us create the most welcoming and supportive community we can be. We're looking forward to working together to bring out the best of BISC!

We're celebrating the Class of 2027! This year will be a big one, with college decisions, IB preparation and testing, and getting ready for the next steps after graduation. While we still have them under our roof, we're excited to support, show up, and celebrate their successes.

On Monday, Year 13 parents hosted Donuts on the Roof, where seniors could grab a donut and catch up with their classmates on the first day back. Today, seniors participated in the Staff vs. Seniors Basketball game, with Seniors winning the day!
