This Wednesday, December 15, at 6 PM in the second floor atrium of Eric Solorio Academy High School, the Advanced Choir will sing a short concert to present the music they have learned throughout first semester. Please come and enjoy listening to their beautiful voices and some festive holiday tunes!

Este miércoles 15 de diciembre, a las 6:00 PM en el aurio del Solorio Academy High School, el Coro Avanzado cantará un concierto corto para presentar la música que han aprendido durante el primer semestre. Yesterday, Solorio Advanced Choir members Aileen, Alexandra, Angela, Belinda, and Jose got to sing with other Chicago Public Schools high school students at the Illinois ACDA Fall Conference under the direction of Diana V. Saez. It was an inspiring day full of music and community!

Ayer, los miembros del Coro Avanzado de Solorio, Aileen, Alexandra, Angela, Belinda y José pudieron cantar con otros estudiantes de secundaria de CPS en la Conferencia de ACDA de Illinois bajo la dirección de Diana V. Saez. ¡Fue un día inspirador lleno de música y comunidad!

The School Advanced Choir hope that their singing can provide you with some joy and inspiration during this tough time. Remote learning has been a challenge for choirs everywhere. Our students worked hard to record their part individually at home making it possible to put together this virtual choir performance. Enjoy!

Congratulations to Marcos R. whose audition earned him a spot in the Illinois Music Education Association District 1 Senior Chorus! Marcos is a senior and a member of the Eric Solorio Academy High School Advanced Choir. He will get to participate in the virtual ILMEA District Festival later this month with students from all over northern Illinois!
