Look what’s happening in our classroom garden! 💚 Our strawberries, radishes, carrots, and onions are beginning to sprout! 🌱

Our little gardeners have been planting, watering, observing, and patiently waiting and now they’re seeing the first signs of growth. Their excitement has been priceless! 🍓🥕🧅

💚 Learning Through Play:
This project is teaching our children patience, responsibility, observation, and early science skills while introducing new vocabulary like seed, sprout, root, stem, and grow. Through hands-on learning, they’re discovering that even the smallest seed can grow into something amazing with time, care, and consistency.

🌱🍓 Planting Day Was a Success! 🍓🌱

Our little gardeners got their hands dirty and had so much fun planting strawberries, carrots, onions, and radishes! 🥕🧅🍓❤️

The children explored the soil, planted seeds, watered their gardens, and learned about what plants need to grow. There were lots of smiles, curiosity, and excitement as they began their journey from seed to harvest. 🌱✨

💚LEARNING THROUGH PLAY:
Through this activity, the children are building vocabulary, strengthening fine motor skills, exploring early science concepts, and learning patience as they observe growth over time. Hands-on experiences help children connect learning to the world around them while encouraging curiosity and discovery.

A brand-new month means a brand-new learning adventure at At Home Learning Academy!

This month, our little learners are becoming Garden Explorers! 🌿🍓🥕 We will be planting, watering, observing, tasting, and learning all about how fruits and vegetables grow.

Throughout June, the children will:
🌱 Plant their own fruits and vegetables
💧 Learn how plants grow and what they need to survive
🍓 Participate in fruit and vegetable taste tests
🎨 Create fun garden-themed art projects
🔤 Learn new words like plant, seed, grow, root, fruit, vegetable, garden, and harvest
🔢 Practice counting, matching, sorting, and observation skills
☀️ Spend time exploring and learning outdoors

We can’t wait to watch our garden grow and see all the exciting discoveries our little learners make along the way!

Today, our little learners enjoyed lunch outside and experienced the most exciting part of our butterfly project we released our butterflies into the world! Watching the children smile, cheer, and say goodbye to the butterflies they helped observe and learn about was truly priceless.

From caterpillars to butterflies, this journey has taught our children about growth, patience, transformation, and the beauty of nature. 💚
