There are several corporate structures to choose from, but the most common ones are a Limited Liability Company (LLC), a Corporation, and a Limited Partnership (LP). Each of these options has its own advantages and disadvantages.

An LLC is a popular choice for investors looking to own rental property because it provides personal liability protection for the owners. This means that if the property you own is sued, your personal assets are protected from any losses. Additionally, LLCs offer pass-through taxation, meaning that profits and losses pass through to the individual tax returns of the owners. This structure is also relatively easy to set up and manage.

A corporation, on the other hand, offers more formal structure and governance than an LLC. It is important to note that there are two types of corporations- C Corporation and S Corporation.
