I could have made coffee at home.
But right now especially this week it’s been a whirlwind of to do lists as everyone prepares to wrap things up before the New Year.
I’m very bogged down, I haven’t had much time for self care but I try to squeeze little moments here and there. Like grabbing myself a peppermint mocha from . Do I have the ingredients at home to make it? Sure! That’s not the point.
Right now I am running on empty doing things for others, so someone making coffee for me instead helps me feel supported even though it’s just a small gesture.
It’s the quick burst of fresh air and a brisk walk getting sun on my face to the coffeeshop. It’s more than just “paying for a cup of coffee.”
So although I don’t have long periods of time to devote to self care right now, I carve out whatever time I have for now, knowing that it’s temporary.
Give your self snippets of self care if possible if you are also going through a chaotic time this holiday season, knowing it won’t last forever. You do what you can 🙌🏼 ❤️

Hi friends! I’m looking to gather some research for my health coaching business.
I’m not selling anything. I simply want to make sure that what I am creating is on track with what my ideal clients are needing.
I work with women who struggle with chronic dieting, have a challenging relationship with food, and body dissatisfaction.
My clients are tired of deprivation diets, strict food rules, and feeling uncomfortable in their own skin. I support them in healing their relationship with food and their body, have clarity around food choices, and spend more time on the things that really matter.
If this sounds like you, I’d love for you to answer a few questions for me.
And if you know someone who this sounds like, I’d love for you to share this with them and see if they’d be open to answering a few questions.

What does being healthy mean to you?
There is no true definition of what healthy and being well is nor is it the same for everyone despite what these health gurus say.
Nor is it simply only your “diet” and “exercise”
It can be a variety of factors and that can
include your environment as well.
I may not be doing a “morning run” in this picture, but I am definitely practicing health and wellness by being out in nature, getting some natural sunlight with my favorite beverage, and just taking it all in.
Everyone’s definition of “health and wellness” is different. What’s yours?

When Metropolis reached out to me so they can send me a little treat, I did not expected such a great package with a lot of goodies in it! .
has been a pillar in my life since I moved into the neighborhood.
They have a great cafe with an array of coffee selections and truly is a safe,inclusive community space. Their motto is “great coffee for everyone.”
If you follow me on stories, you’ve seen me post about this coffeeshop many times when I do my morning coffee walks by the lake.
Metropolis Coffee Company has been my home away from home as I was building my health coaching business and still is until this day.
