In the movie, famously rips the head off the baby doll. In our show, my rabid chickens have already separated the head from the body and I find both pieces in the chair when I sit on them. It’s a baffling and disturbing realization each night and I love this moment: both our own take and also a nod to the legends who have come before. ⭐️

I’m very honored to be able to fill this part up each night with my own brand of Hannigan. 461 performances and counting.

I’ve been celebrating this holiday with since Annie turned 100 and if I’ve learned anything over the course of my tenure with this show, it’s that the sentiment “the sun will come out tomorrow” is a powerful one.

While many think of this idea (and this show) as trite or saccharine, it has been my experience that when they see it, something small and hard in their hearts softens, and there hope can grow. It turns out that we’re all hoping the sun comes out tomorrow. And knowing that maybe it will can be the boat that carries us across the darkness. 💛❤️

Alright alright, cats out of the bag: Season 3 of is underway and I’m in the gratitude 💛❤️ Stepping back into the snakeskin pumps for another 28 cities under the direction of the incomparable and with a whole new batch of chickens and an incredible cast 💛❤️

Also you may have heard there’s a very special lady coming in to play Miss H for a while when we’re in New York (more on that below), and y’all, she is so kind and so funny. This is gonna be fun 💛❤️
