September isn’t just back-to-school season. For high achievers whose kiddos are back on a routine, it can be a powerful moment to turn the focus back on themselves, really asking themselves, “What do I want from the rest of this year?”
Many of my clients find that there’s something about this time of year that makes them feel like they should be doing more. Setting new goals, building better habits, making bigger plans, and following up on commitments we thought we’d accomplish months ago.
But what if this season wasn't simply about adding to the list? What if it was about a mindful reset. And, choosing how you want to experience that?
So, I invite you to choose one word, or one feeling that you can come back to as the days unfold.
To help you determine this season’s focus, ask yourself:
✨What has been stressing me out this year that I’m ready to release?
✨How do I want to feel while I’m living this season?
✨What do I want to grow in myself right now?
✨What feeling do I want within arm's reach, always?
✨When did I feel most like myself in the last 30 days, and what was present in that moment?
Think about the word you’d want beside you on the easy days and the complicated ones. A feeling that can act as a small reminder of how you want to meet whatever fall brings.
Maybe it’s ease? Courage. Connection. Play. Trust. Clarity. Enough.
Pick your word, write it somewhere you’ll see it, and share it below to help inspire somebody else!👇
