CCA Academy provides theme-based learning that connects the core areas of mathematics, science, social science, reading, writing, and the arts through the lens of Urban Agriculture/Ecology. Real world applications and exhibitions center on urban agriculture, aquaponics, vermiculture, water conservation, solar energy, holistic health, and culinary arts. Our heirloom plant sale is almost here! 🌱 Students have been growing heirloom vegetables alongside companion plants like marigolds and chives that naturally help keep pests away. Fresh, sustainable, and perfect for your backyard garden and kitchen.

Wednesday May 6th & Thursday May 7th, 2026 - CCA Academy students visited the Garfield Park Conservatory as part of the Young Adult Horticulture Pathway Program, where they gained hands-on horticulture experience and explored future career opportunities in the industry.
