🌟 Say hello to Mady Frischer, VOCEL’s Manager of Individual Giving and Development Events!

Mady is a nonprofit development and donor engagement professional with almost ten years of experience in individual and corporate giving, fundraising events, and relationship-driven donor strategies. They are currently pursuing a Master's of Social Work from Northeastern Illinois University and have always been passionate about working towards a career in play-based social-emotional learning. They are so excited to bring their passion to VOCEL and help fuel such an incredible mission. We hope you will join us in giving them a warm welcome! 👏

This is a great opportunity to meet the VOCEL team in person to learn more about our summer programs, engage in some outdoor math play, and enjoy popsicles, bubbles, and more!

✨Spring Panel Reflection: Intentional Play and Co-Teaching

This month, we had an incredible session with prek-2nd grade teachers exploring co-teaching practices using a playful partnership approach. From team activities to real-world insights from EETC members, it was all about building a community that supports collaborative teaching.

💡 Through our Powered by VOCEL program, parents and caregivers are stepping into leadership by facilitating weekly child-parent classes that create consistent, joyful learning spaces while supporting parents with the tools to bring the learning into everyday moments at home.

This is what it looks like when school leaders, caregivers, and the community come together to support children’s growth 🌱
