Alhamdulillah. My O-1A Visa in the field of Business has been approved. 🇺🇸❤️
Still feels a little unreal typing this.
Four years ago, when I started my agency, I had no idea where it would take me. There was no O-1A plan, no roadmap for any of this, nothing like that in my mind. I was simply trying to build something of my own, get better at what I do, work with great people, and see how far I could take it.
Fast forward a few years, and that journey somehow turned into an almost 800-page O-1A Extraordinary Ability petition.
And on Day 14 of premium processing, I got the email I had been waiting for:
Approved.
No RFE. No additional evidence. Straight approval.
Alhamdulillah. ❤️
The O-1A is sometimes called the “Einstein visa,” so getting this approval in Business at just 22 years old, before even completing my bachelor’s degree, is something I’m still trying to fully process.
What people see today is one approval notice. What they don’t see are the years behind it — the late nights, the risks, the uncertainty, the small wins, the setbacks, and all the work that slowly added up over time.
I was also incredibly fortunate to have some amazing people support my case, including entrepreneurs, PhD professors, a Y Combinator alumnus, industry leaders, and people leading companies worth billions of dollars. Having people at that level willing to stand behind my work meant a lot to me.
The craziest part is that when I started all of this, I wasn’t working toward an O-1A.
I was just working.
And somehow, years later, that work opened a door I never imagined at the beginning.
That’s probably the biggest thing I’ll take from this moment — sometimes you really don’t know where the work you’re doing today is going to take you tomorrow.
I’m grateful to my family, friends, mentors, professors, clients, team, and everyone who supported me or believed in what I was building along the way.
And above everything else, Alhamdulillah for everything. ❤️
This one is special.
On to the next chapter, InshaAllah. 🚀
