Teaching takes heart, patience, and sacrifice. This fellowship was created to support Chicago Black male educators through mentorship, wellness resources, coaching, and meaningful connections with others who understand the work.

Hundreds of Chicagoans gathered for the inaugural 103rd Street 5K Peace Walk/Runs and sparked a conversation about how vacant lots along the corridor could be transformed into restaurants, gyms and community centers.

Erickson Institute was at our Rise Up Family & Community Engagement summit this past Saturday. Hope some of our partners connected with them!

Illinois educators learn how to teach Black-affirming curricula with the help of the Erikson Institute A cohort of 15 early childhood educators worked with the Erikson Institute to develop teaching plans that celebrate being Black.
