We took it to the STREETS! There was Dancing in the STREETS! We are taking our STREETS back! The Last Day of 2022-23 School year was as fun filled as the School’s Opening. So many activities for the students to enjoy. These community partners brought their A game. We are truly thankful for their generosity! “My Summer My Safety” was a HUGE success!

8th Graders here have much to be excited about! They have traveled to Washington DC to see all of the scenic spots! It was certainly a memorable trip for them.

CEO Martinez of Chicago Public Schools had an inspiring visit to DuBois today! How do we know? He said we made his whole year, not day! The 8th graders shined as they discussed their college trip to DC. He gave his vision for them when they graduate and leave from CPS. He engaged with the students and they engaged right back. No doubt that CEO Martinez will be resourceful in helping DuBois continue to WIN!!

The animals were certainly out this week when the Middle School Mustangs stopped by! Each group had their assignments handy and they came back excited!

AN Attendance Popcorn Party! Mustangs are truly in Pursuit of Excellence! They are showing up and showing out! 6 classrooms had Perfect Attendance!

First field trip of the year! Our 7th and 8th grade classes participated in team building exercises Irons Oaks Environmental Learning Center. They reported upon their return that communication is key in being a leader and a follower!
