This is poor wo(man) mentality.👎 If we want to grow, we have to be 100% REAL with ourselves and SQUASH THOSE FEARS!

The money that is made in business gets dispersed in MILLIONS of ways & bank accounts.

NO BUSINESS PERSON keeps all the money they make & if they do—guess what happens to them? They go to jail. ⛓️

So, in the spirit of TRUTH, let’s break it down so we can avoid that orange jumpsuit. This breakdown in the slides are approx for ANY business & are standard/average benchmarks. (Ask your CPA!)

👉The MOST you can get is 25-30% in a healthy salon/spa business. This is your PROFIT!👈

‼️And guess what?! The Majority of Salons are BARELY MAKING 8% in profit!!!‼️

PROFIT is what you want and the whole reason we’re in business. To make that baby grow! 🪴

‼️GET YO MIND OUTTA THE GUTTER!‼️

Sooooooo many Beauty & Barber Pros take whatever they can get (aka LEACH!) or they give so much of themselves they burn out. 🔥

TAKERS👉 don’t give back to their team, don’t market themselves, don’t fold laundry, don’t even change the toilet paper role (watch my chat with on this, Ep. 241!) BUT they expect salon & spa clients, tips, education, team events. AND THEN! ☝️

They’re the ones complaining the LOUDEST & the first to leave the salon or spa as soon as their shift is done. 🤦🏻‍♀️

GIVERS👉you almost gotta force them to leave. Pry them away from their stations/rooms, shove them out of the salon/spa because they do TOO MUCH. Salon & Spa Owners, the good ones, will give to their team, clients, family, friends, etc and they’re left a hospital bill due to burn out. 😬

Either extreme is NOT good! & we know balance is KEY for anything & everything in life.🔐
