Northeastern Illinois University remembers those who have lost their lives in military service. In observance of Memorial Day, all University locations are closed on Monday, May 25.

Congratulations Class of 2026! NEIU's Commencement ceremony was a vibrant celebration of achievement and unity. The ceremony opened with a performance from Ensemble Español Spanish Dance Theater, marking their 50th anniversary. Speeches from President Bell-Jordan and commencement speaker Keeanga-Yamahtta Taylor, Ph.D., inspired our community to come together.
