Day #2...tested 13 kids so far; 11 made attainment!!! One more day to go, then on to Math!

It's been a while! Here are some awesome pics from our field trip to the Shedd Aquarium!

I wrote a grant to the amazing organization Donors Choose. I asked for 3 new Chromebooks that my students can use during small group/center time, as well as for test prep for the NWEA test. Well....WE GOT IT!!! Now my awesome students have more technology in the classroom, which means many more opportunities for learning!😁

Our Family Tree Projects are finished and are on display! What a wonderful way to celebrate diversity! Great job, 2nd Grade!!!

Warm Winter Glow, indeed! Room 204 did an AWESOME job at both assemblies today! Wearing shirts that they designed, they recited a poem titled, "Winter is Mine," and sang the version of "Winter Wonderland."

Thank you to the men of Phi Beta Sigma for another amazing toy drive! My class was so excited to receive these amazing gifts!

Hey Room 204 Families! Here is the schedule for our Winter Week Celebration! Please participate if you can!
Don't forget...our Warm Winter Glow Assembly is Wednesday, Dec. 20th at 9am & 1pm and the Fine Arts Assembly is Thursday, Dec. 21st at the same times. Your child should wear black pants. We made our shirts in class, so they can dress to match the days' theme; they will just put their shirts on for the assembly.

Sometimes, even on the hardest days, you'll have that one kid that reminds you of why you became a teacher!😍 (I'm pretty sure he meant "in the world," not "and," but you get the gist!)
