Some students got to meet Dan Thomas, Astronaut for NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration and programmed some robots at FANUC America Corporation to get the full manufacturing experience. We love seeing all of this!

Call us cheesy but we think this FIRST team and college students in Wisconsin is doing amazing work! The team is made up of engineering students from Marquette University’s Marquette University Opus College of Engineering adapting electronic toys to make them easier to use. This includes adding larger buttons, adding tethers or moving buttons to make them easier to use. Students like this is why the Smartforce Student Summit is so important!

Play Time Comes FIRST Play time is the best time! No matter their interests or abilities, every child should get the chance to play every day. Some FIRST Robotics teams are using their technical skills to make playtime more accessible for children with disabilities.   

The Smartforce Student Summit is all about creating opportunities for the next generation of manufacturers, and so is the American Precision Museum! Back in 2023, APM launched the STEM+M Pathways Project includes kits that provide exposure to manufacturing technologies and career paths, inspiring the next generation of advanced manufacturers.
