Mid-Week Check Up!
It's your coach here just reminding you that you've got this, but don't forget to take care of yourself in the process. Self-care is a LEADERSHIP DISCIPLINE. It is not optional. It is not an accessory. It is a NECESSITY if you're in this for the long run!
One of the ways I know that I'm way out of balance is if I go more than three days with some kind of "excuse" as to why I don't have time for devotion/journaling, relaxing. It's not healthy. It's not good for you or those you lead. It's just unwise.
So let's share some wisdom today. What are some things you do to unwind or that bring you joy? Drop it in the comments!

Good morning, Builders!
Today, I'm just dropping in with a simple reminder to BE STILL- not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. With another Monday comes another week of challenges, of conversations, of opportunities. There is so much NOISE in the world that sometimes we forget that ultimately, we are not in control. God IS. So before you run off with your long to-do list and mental acrobatics, take a moment to be still and anchor yourself in your hope!
Stillness helps you lead better, surrender more, and hear clearly.
This week, I challenge you to create space for stillness EVERY DAY and write your results down! You won't regret it!

Happy Monday, Builders!
Before embarking on any major project it is always important to assess the cost and benefits and then ask one question: "Is it worth it?"
Whatever dream, or business, or future for your family that you are striving for, I pray that you remember that it's still worth it- the late nights, the disappointments, the no's, the uncertainty. Some of my most rewarding journeys in life have been the most difficult.
My prayer for you this week is that you continue to walk in the strength. May you WIN this week and may you have the mental fortitude to withstand and overcome any opposition to your progress. Lastly, I pray that you remember why God called you to this and that you're the ONLY one he entrusted with your assignment, so you better keep going.
Hold on to your hope! Your hope fuels your faith and your faith moves God on your behalf!

Hi Builders!
I just love this time of year. September always reignites a quiet inner strength for me. As summer is ending and fall is approaching. I am reminded of the importance and inevitability of change.
This is when diligence and discipline matter. We may be in month nine, and life may look very different than how it looked in January, but I challenge to think about what still remains and what you can build on from here.
Diligence produces results!
What will you be diligent about for the remainder of the year?

What is the key to success that lasts? In one word, it's COMMITMENT.
In a time where there are innumerable distractions, being committed to our purpose keeps us grounded and consistent when everything arounds us urges us to quit. Sometimes, the difference between success and failure is simply staying committed beyond the point that we wanted to give up.

Happy Monday, Builders!
This may seem counterintuitive, but just because something is your passion doesn't mean it should be a priority- at least right now. I recently was hyper focused on a project that I am very passionate about and that I can contribute to. However, an incident last week forced me to sit down and revisit my priorities. In my reflection time, God reminded me that although there's work for me to do in that area, I have another focus for this season that needs my attention.
If you're a builder, it is likely that you're building multiple things. Just know that it's ok to give attention to where it's needed most in the season. The time that you realize the call is not always the time that you WALK in the call. If you're called to build it, nobody can beat you to it. It's yours.
This week, let's reassess our priorities and ensure that we are in alignment with what God has spoken for THIS SEASON.
Keep building and making the world a better place!

Reflections as Friday comes to an end:
1) It's ok to BREATHE. Many times, problems are rarely as consequential as we make them to be. With a little space and time, you allow yourself to be sobriety to settle and can see a clear solution.
2.) It's ok switch priorities. Sometimes what we think is most important is not what GOD thinks is most important. Circumstances will reveal it.
3) Don't let anything take your smile away!

Before I log off for the night, I just wanted to send this gentle reminder: Be proactive!
Being proactive minimizes stress, empowers you, and positions you to be more productive. When we are always reacting, the opposite is true.
Your life and purpose are too important to be dictated by circumstance or happenstance.
You don't need to wait for things to happen for you. Go make them happen!

You don't need anyone's permission to change, evolve, or grow. If you have discovered or developed a burden that an area of your life could be better, then it might be God's way of saying to you, "Let's work on this."
Sometimes, we talk ourselves out of our next level because we say (or think) things like,
"I don't want to be ungrateful."
"I've done a lot here."
"They won't understand."
Then we start asking for signs or confirmations when the reality is that God ALREADY GAVE YOU THE FIRST SIGN. He uses our emotions and our bodies to inform us. We just need enough faith to take the next right step!
So this week, give yourself permission to start something new, to revive that dream, to restore that relationship. It's worth it!

Happy Friday, Builders!
Letting go is sometimes the hardest thing we can do, but it can also be incredibly freeing. Sometimes, it's hard to let go of things because in one season, whatever we are holding on to served us well. My question to you is, "Is it serving you well now?"
This morning I just made a decision to let go of a task that I no longer need to do. It is not the best use of my limited time. Making that one decision alone has already transformed how I will approach my work next week.
What do you need to make a decision to release before entering next week?
