We just wanted to reach out to each of you and thank you for registering for our first Friends of Vaughn 5k. We truly appreciate the support and hope this will become an annual event, in person in the future! Many of you may have already completed your walk or run but if not, try to get it in by Sunday. If you still have friends and family who want to register, it's not too late to participate! Kathryn Lavin, MSW, Executive Director of Gateway to Learning, and former Vaughn parent, will speak about choice and person centered planning in the adult service system, the new federal “settings” regulations, and Gateway to Learning services that promote active inclusion at home, work and in the community. She will also answer any questions you have about transitioning to the adult services system

Our next Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) meeting, March 18th, will be the Local School Counsel (LSC) candidate forum. They will use the first 10 minutes of the meeting to speak to the group in preparation for the LSC election. If you are interested in a position on the LSC this is a great opportunity to check it out!
