I'm doing free family portraits again this weekend (May 20 and 21)! It's looking like the weather will be perfect.
I have so many children. Like, more than 3. I get it. Kids have bad days. Parents have bad days (not unrelated). In my personal experience something as simple as 'wearing pants' can become an epic battle of wills. Also, sometimes kids just roll around in poison ivy, or go full permanent marker on their younger brothers face.
When you pay up front for a fancy photo shoot, the pressure is all on you to deliver. I don't like that. When you sign up for a free family portrait the burden is on me (your photographer) to find and capture what is beautiful and unique to your crew. If you like the pictures, you buy the pictures. That's it.
