Where are all my Cat Mommas & Papas! ☺️

Enjoy an afternoon, painting in the park of your gorgeous feline!

This is a fabulous way to connect with nature, relax, and get those creative juices flowing to release any thing you need to let go of...🥰

To make it a bit easier for transport, this Pretty Kitty will be created with watercolor, and we will have some fine ink markers if wanting to mix it up :)

We are making this workshop 2 hrs long, to help provide at least 1.5 hrs for paint time with 30 min extra for instruction, introduction, and finishing up! As our Fetch Workshop felt a bit rushed! :)

What do you need to bring?

A blanket, a dish to share and we are going to make this a BYOwhatever! So, if you want coffee, wine, tea...bring it! :)

Please dress comfortably and not to impress, but to make a mess! :)

This is a great introduction to our next workshop series: "Let's Grow!" where we create beautiful works of art, inspired by nature!!

Seats will only be $20 to cover supplies & instruction! We will be painting on an 8x10 sheet of 80 lb watercolor paper. Paint, washi tape brushes, aprons, and the rest will be provided for you.

*IF sitting on the ground is uncomfortable for you, please feel free to bring a folding chair!

So, we had some unfortunate things happen the past couple times we tried to have this event, and then more progressively in the last week leading up to event.

I am saddened to say that the event is cancelled until further notice.

I can explain in more detail within an email.

Items donated to raffle can be picked up or dropped off to businesses within Trinidad - and explained more within the email.

I apologize for late notice - I am borrowing signal from a phone that keeps dropping because of an unexpected impromptu move last week an hour outside of Trinidad, to a safe space - but with bad reception.

I really wanted this event to happen, and have been working on several things for months - but, realistically - it is not what it should be for what I was trying to offer.

I hope for it to prosper next year.

We had 5 businesses cancel after the last reminder email was sent out - it has been tough to simply get a response & to remind businesses who agreed to be in this event, about the event.

I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you, I had planned on doing several promotional posts the past few weeks, but then we had several backouts, then the unexpected move - just everything has been in cahoots.

This is NOT how I operate and really hope to still have your support for the event next year. Those who know me - know my work ethic and level of loyalty & dedication when it comes to my workshops and events.

I have many references from my time running a gallery and curating a 2 day art expo in Chicago, and since my time I have been here that know how committed & driven I am when it comes to events - so this has really been eating at my soul to have to cancel after investing so many months into this.

Thank you for everything and I hope to have your understanding & support for upcoming events.

Please expect an email if you reserved seats for the event or were a partnership + donated raffle items.

Thank you to everyone that got involved - if you want to see this happen - I would love to hear from those that are passionate & would like to see it through! Looking to form an eclectic Event Board.

Feet are wet and ready for next year, but right now I am just trying to get back on my feet.

Ironically, in the duration of planning this event it oddly became a daily reminder about the need to love myself, too.

I can promote it all I want, but putting myself on the back burner while caring about others - is not always the healthiest way to live.

That is exactly what this event is intended for - to remind folks to take time out for themselves once in awhile, to teach folks how to make home-made remedies, simple stretches, breathing techniques, but, who knew that I was the target audience??

I appreciate the love & support, folks.
Hoping for it to continue.
