Happy New Year to all my hummingbird friends and family!! We hope you all had a great time celebrating with love ones. We ended our year with a Noon Years Eve party!
We decorated some yummy cookies.
Made mini pizzas for lunch and made some fun shakers to bring in the “ noon” year!

Hello, friends and family. Summer is in full swing! Temperatures are hot. We’re excited about this summer. Before we show you what we’ve been up to so far, we want to share our spring season!

This spring we had our first family Easter egg hunt. It was a wet one, but we had a blast!
We have our Muffins with Mom’s celebration along with Donuts at Dad! April and May birthday celebrations. Our exciting field trips and more.

Happy Spring! The sun is shinning and the days are longer. We can not wait for what this spring season will bring! The month of March was very busy and full of fun.
On St. Patrick’s day the leprechaun came for a visit. We attempted to capture him but he was much too quick for us. He left us some jewels and gold coins!
This months field trips consisted of:
Yu Kidz Island
Brookfield Zoo
Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum
The Junction Diner- the train restaurant
and
Lincoln Park Zoo

It’s back to school season!
We’re so happy and proud of our Little Hummingbirds who are entering into kindergarten this year!
We had a summer full of many adventures. We had lots of summer birthday celebrations, park play dates, and a lot of water fun. We had a blast at our end of summer celebration. We want to thank all our parents for coming and supporting us. We want to especially thank Animal Quest for a great show.

Happy 4th of July weekend!!
We hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July. I can’t believe it feels like the summer is half way done! We’d like to share with you all what we’ve done thus far. Lots of water activities, park play dates, birthday celebrations and summer movies!

Happy Father’s Day to all our dads out there! Thank you to all who were able to make it to Donuts with dads! We hope you all enjoyed it. I know the kids had a blast!

It’s hard to believe the year has come to an end. But boy did we have a year! We had so many great adventures from field trips, parks and outside play. This Christmas season we once again participated in Operation Christmas Child with Samaritan’s Purse. This year with the help of all of you we were able to fill 70 boxes! We could not be any more grateful for all those who donated. Whether it was your time, supplies or toys. Another holiday highlight we experienced this year was our Christmas holiday party! The children had an awesome time meeting Mr. Terrence from Total T Magic. Mr. Terrence put on a great show for the children. The children were in awe at all the tricks and magic he performed. It was a great way to end the festivities of the year. We look forward to what this next year brings for us here at Little Hummingbirds. Happy New Years to you all.

Happy back to school!
We cannot believe that the summer season has come to an end. We had so many adventures, celebrations, and outside fun! As we say good bye to the summer season we look forward to a great fall!
