We got to do something very fun at the shop on Thursday! We hosted Shannon Downey (also known as Badass Cross Stitch) for a night of community, education, and crafting. We learned about the history of craftivism and how we can use it to make change and build community, and we learned how to embroider! We absolutely loved this collab and getting to share our space with really cool people!

When you own a home, there are things to do on the regular. Take our class and leave with a new set of homeowner knowledge! You'll learn why annual home maintenance is important, how to create a seasonal maintenance schedule, and how to troubleshoot common problems. We'll also discuss essential maintenance tasks with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, safety, and exterior maintenance.

We feel like no one is coming to wood joinery. Do people not know what it is? Do they not want to hook wood together? DOES NO ONE LOVE A POCKET HOLE?!?

We’ve landed on the fact that it might be the name, so we’re having a contest! Give us a new name for our wood joinery class, and if we pick your idea, you get two free tickets to any class you want. Keep them, gift them, whatever you like!
