“I thought this level of success would feel different.”

That’s what she told me when we started working together.

She had built a multi-7-figure business from the ground up — but behind the scenes, she was exhausted.

Every decision ran through her.
Her calendar was packed.
Her team relied on her for everything.

She didn’t want to walk away.
She wanted to lead differently.

Swipe through to see what changed — and why this story might feel a little too familiar.

Being a mother is the best and most important job I’ve ever had.
It’s also the hardest.

Hard because:
→ It’s relentless.
→ It reshaped my identity.
→ It asks more than it gives many days.
→ The emotional load is invisible and never turns off.

And yet:
→ It has taught me to face things within myself that I was afraid of.
→ It deepened my empathy and helped me set boundaries.
→ It expanded me in ways I didn’t think possible.

They say parents are less happy day-to-day, but experience more long-term meaning. I believe that.

This role stretches me constantly, but it also fills me with immense meaning and purpose.

And in order to raise humans who leave the world better than they found it, I have to keep working on being a better human too.

I try every day.
And I fail every day.
But I keep going.

Because I’m imperfect. And I’m raising imperfect children.
But the goal was never perfection.

The goal is to lead with love, compassion, and kindness.
To lead myself well, so my children learn to lead themselves.
To stretch in healthy ways, so they learn how to adapt and build resilience.

These are some of the lessons that motherhood has taught me.
And they’re the same ones that make me a better coach, leader, and human.

I also want to acknowledge that this day means different things to different people. If it was hard for any reason, you’re not alone.

However you spent it, I hope you took care of yourself.

Happy Mother’s Day. 💛

We spend so much time trying to rush transformation.

Trying to “figure it out” faster.
Trying to “get there” sooner.
Trying to make things happen on our timeline.

But true growth, the kind that lasts, often takes longer than we expect.
It requires rest. Darkness. Patience. Trust.

Just like the butterfly in our garage, you are still transforming.
Even when you can’t see it yet.

Honor your own pace.
You are not behind.
You are becoming. 🦋
