The 20th Annual Kasparov Chess Foundation All-Girls National Chess Championships (organized in partnership with Renaissance Knights Chess Foundation and US Chess) is coming up!
From April 4-6, young female chess players from across the nation come together in Chicago to compete, learn, and grow.
Keep an eye out for US Chess's table, where Director of Programs DeVaughn Croxton will be conducting game analysis, hosting prize giveaways, and promoting our Girls Club Ambassador program along with members of the US Chess Women's Committee.

Tanitoluwa Adewumi, a 10-year-old from New York, has become the country''s newest national chess master. After three years of intense practice, he won all his matches at the Fairfield County Chess Club Championship, achieving a chess rating 2223. Despite his family''s struggles, Adewumi''s dedication to chess has led him to this incredible achievement.

This past weekend, 673 players from 142 schools competed in the largest and most prestigious US Chess-rated scholastic tournament in Chicago! Of these players, 521 came from 69 Chicago Public Schools, showcasing the incredible depth of talent in our city.
