It doesn’t look like much, but these few amount of supplies turned into the most amazing haunted houses! They had to find a way to give them structure, and many groups got creative with their TP rolls.

Spooky season has begun in the Makerspace! This week every grade level had a different activity based on some of my favorite spooky books. Plus I introduced our genre of the month, scary/spooky.

First grade had the option of four different Creepy Crayon stations. They built crayon castle, crayon cargo boats, concealed the crayon, and made crayon creations with water colors. We’ve had so much fun!

Our Makerspace opened up this week. I struggled finding a quick challenge that would involve teamwork, but would work well with going over the rules and introducing the Makerspace. The 3rd-5th graders were challenged with The Great Chain Race. My body is exhausted, but my heart is full after two days. Two more this week!

Day 2: I love most parts of my job… device distribution and management? Not so much. Kindergarten laptops went out Friday. The goal for Monday is new students and begin swaps. It’s never ending.
