Hey Ranger Fans! We need your Help!!!

We are looking for Alumni would would like to volunteer for 2 the following events:

The Mather Career and College Fair. The info is below:

I am pleased to invite you to participate in Mather High School's 2011
College/Career Fair on Wednesday, November 02, 2011. Mather's student
population is diverse in terms of culture, ethnicity, and academic
achievement.

More than 75% of students speak a language other than English at home making
bilingual education central to the school's curriculum. Mather students take
advantage of a wide range of AP and Honors courses as well as more than 50
different clubs and extra-curricular activities. Sixty five percent of
Mather graduates are enrolled in college or post-secondary education, ranking 19
Out of 77 schools in CPS. At 85% low-income enrollment, our students qualify for
many need- based scholarships and opportunities for post-secondary education
each year.

Now that you know a little more about Mather students, I hope that you will
Join me in showing them the wealth of possibilities available for their future.
While many students choose to live at home and attend college in the Chicago area,
many more are curious about schools further from home and would be
Interested in expanding their horizons if provided with resources and knowledge of
different options.

The event for students will be from 6:00 -8:30 pm, but you may arrive as
Early as 5:00 pm to set up. We will provide refreshments in the teacher's
cafeteria.

Mathers 2011 Science Fair

Mather will be holding it's Annual Science Fair on Saturday, December 10th, 8:00am-Noon. And we need some judges! If you are interested please e-mail me at [email protected]
