We had the privilege of bringing community, creativity, and civic pride together through art! Young artists explored identity, expression, and community by painting self-portraits, colorful buildings, bold shapes, and collaborative pieces for our Civic Mural Project. 🏙️✨

From headshots to personality portraits to full GMA moments, this is what it looks like when creativity meets opportunity.

Every participant received professional headshots for their resumes and pitch decks— stepping into spaces prepared and polished. Workforce development in action! Bulldog real skills, confidence, and career pathways.

Jalen, a college student studying filmmaking, is now employed in Lynwood as a photographer/videographer — a full circle moment.

Not just content… but careers being built.

Honored to be invited to celebrate Chinese New Year at 🧧🎹

We brought 3 of our high school piano scholars— including our senior Brielle, who’s studied privately with GMA since 3rd grade and owns a Steinway of her own. ✨

They even won raffles! Proud is an understatement.

Their activation is designed to be engaging, culturally affirming, and developmentally appropriate, ensuring every child feels seen and inspired.

Introducing Fashion Lab 100 at 🧵✨

For the first time, students will design and construct 3 original garments, learn how to confidently operate a sewing machine, and express their creativity through hands-on creation.

Led by professional teaching artists, this afterschool experience blends engaging lesson plans with high-quality arts instruction — building both technical skill and creative confidence.

Creativity isn’t just encouraged — it’s constructed. ✂️
