So I've gotten quite a few questions about alcohol drinks. "Can I still have drinks? How can I track it?"
Let me start by saying for optimal results, limiting alcohol consumption is the best route. Not specifically because of the alcohol drink itself, but because of the choices made AFTER the first drink or so.
That's when the trouble starts. Such as more drinks, paying less attention to food intake, etc.
BUT, if you're going to do it, here's how to properly weigh and track your drinks.

“So around this time last year I started learning how to count my macros, calories etc. I had recently gained weight due to being severely depressed and used food as my "escape"... I know its cliche but 100% true.

Being vegan NEVER means being small,you can gain weight and I definitely gained alot of weight. Anyway I signed up with march 2019 and reluctantly started to learn about eating for your goals vs just eating. I had to take before pics and this is THEM.
THIS IS PROOF OF CONSISTENCY with lifestyle changes... this wasnt supposed a before and after!

I'm extremely grateful for all I've learned. I have better habits during times of stress that doesnt make me want to eat every high calorie food in sight. I understand what causes me to gain the most weight and how to make GREAT recipes while maintaining my goals.

🌱 has been vegan since Sept 2017🌱... A lot of people think if you go vegan, you'll lose too much weight, you won't be able to lift heavy or you'll lose your curves etc. She is a great example of how thats NOT true... 🍑🍑


Through a LOT of trial and error, she has found a way to maintain her protein levels as she did when she ate meat, and to keep her calories at a range that allowed her to still powerlift. You can be vegan and still gain curves or muscle. You can be vegan and MAINTAIN your physique or curves. You just need the right plan! .
