It seems this organization is collecting funds using our community's name. Unfortunately, we don't have the same connections as they do. Our community's children struggle to learn Islamic knowledge due to language barriers, forcing them to attend other communities' madrasas (e.g., Pakistani, Indian, Bangladeshi). In those madrasas, our children can't understand 100% of what's being taught. That's why we've been trying to purchase this place.

The Rohingya community in Chicago's future dream has been broken by this organization. We've been collecting funds for our Rohingya community mosque in Chicago for quite some time.

We've completed the design of the masjid and collected funds. Community members, agents, and owners had meetings at the agent's office. The owner initially agreed with us, but it seems this organization made a better offer, and the property owner likely prefers it. I'm not accusing anyone, but it's been almost a year since we started collecting funds for this place, and we've almost reached our goal 😔. Now our dream for the mosque has been broken 😞.
