Frederick Reed wants to start this Academy because he sees a void in the quality of arts and arts education available to children and our youth in the inner city. Frederick Reed continues to persevere the arts , and through 4HG, he proves that the Arts are important and integral to the well-being of children everywhere. The 4 His Glory curriculum challenges young artists to embrace all forms and aesthetics of dance, music, and theater and to learn from the rich cultural traditions of the arts. At 4 His glory students study with master teachers in Dance Music and Theatre. Here at 4HG its about both artistic and academic achievement. In addition to the challenging performing arts curricula comprising three levels, based on age and ability Teapots, Lil Cups, Pre Comp, Junior Comp, and comp, 4HG students are required to maintain at least a B scholastic grade point average. The discipline that is expected of the young people serves them well in and outside of the company, resulting in the development of well-rounded young citizens who understand what it takes to succeed in both the arts and in life!
