Get started today at chicagodrummingschool.com We offer lessons for different purposes. Repetition sounds boring, right? Don’t worry, we’ll make it fun.
No matter your goal, Chicago Drumming School can help you master the craft. Youngins (Ages 3-12):
I myself started taking lessons as toddler and it has shaped my life. As a kid, taking drum lessons was a fun activity that my mom signed me up for, probably just to get me out of her hair, but as it became a part of my life and something that today I could not live without. Whether you want to nurtur
e your child’s creativity or just get a little energy out of them, drum lessons will do the job. Our teaching style with young students focuses on exploration and repetition, moving at the child’s pace to maximize retention. ($60/one hour lesson or $200 for 4 prepaid lessons)
Grown folks (Ages 13 and up):
Drumming has always sounded fun, but you’ve never actually picked up a pair of drum sticks with any intent of playing music. However daunting, Chicago Drumming School is here to take away the pains of learning something new. In reality, you’re not learning, you’re honing – honing the rhythmic skills you already have. Through repetition, your sense of rhythm will become a marketable skill (good drummers are in demand!). ($60/one hour lesson or $240 for 5 prepaid one hour lessons)
Buddy lessons:
If you have a friend that also wants to learn how to play drums, then the Buddy Lesson is for you. The Buddy Lesson allows two people to come in at once for a fast-paced and highly interactive lesson plan. ($80/one hour lesson for two or $320 for 5 prepaid one hour lessons for two)
Working Drummers:
Any good drummer knows that to stay good, you have to practice to keep up your muscles and your rhythm. I offer myself as a sounding board, a spotter for your ‘workout’, and a creative input to your exercises. (30 minute power session for $30, full one hour session for $50 – you must already play in a band to be eligible for this rate)
